The Barn At Chesnut Springs | Jeff & Rachel’s Destination Wedding |

Rachel and Jeff had their beautiful, rustic wedding at The Barn At Chestnut Springs. We absolutely love this venue and were so excited to be back there for this special wedding! A few days leading up to the big day, Rachel was a little concerned about the terrible rainy forecast, but it ended up going south of us and we had such great weather!

Rachel and Jeff are so perfect for one another and I can’t help but giggle when I think about how they fell in love! They met online and hit it off after talking about education reform! Wait What?! A few weeks later she met up with him at a park and later in the evening went to see a horror movie. On their second date, they went on a three mile hike! I can’t imagine how the conversations between Rachel and her girlfriends went…She met a guy (stranger) online, then agreed to meet up with him at a park and then a hike in the woods. Haha!

Obviously, Jeff and Rachel love the outdoors and hiking! He mentioned during his vows that the one thing that made him love her so much was that she loved nature and enjoying hitting the trails with him! So, it was definitely fitting that he proposed to her while on a hike.

Leading up to the wedding day, I thought Rachel and Jeff were from Kentucky and just decided to have a destination wedding in the Smoky Mountains. Then, I found out during the maid of honor toast that Rachel is actually from Tennessee and a Carson Newman Alumni. It was so much fun chatting with her bridesmaids and figuring out all of our mutual friends!

I have so many highlights from the big day but my favorites would have to be Rachel’s Grandpa walking her down the aisle and then dancing with her at the reception! SO…SO… precious! My other highlight had to be during our sunset photo time! I decided to do a few extra bridal shots and had asked Jeff to step aside for a minute. He smiled so hard looking at his gorgeous bride while I took her photos! Oh my goodness, it was so so sweet!
