I have so loved getting to know Mary Jane and Yuki over the past several months. I was introduced to them through my sweet and very talented photographer friend, Danielle Evans. Danielle was also the maid of honor at the wedding and has been friends with Mary Jane for 20 years.

It wouldn’t take you very long to realize that Mary Jane and Yuki are very fun and outgoing people! On weekends, they love gathering friends and hosting dinner parties at their home. It was so evident at the reception they held a special place in everyone’s hearts. From all the family to the guests, everyone spoke very highly of Mary Jane and Yuki. This couple values relationships and it shows. In addition to their people loving personalities, Mary Jane and Yuki are genuinely kind and thoughtful. On the day of her engagement session, Mary Jane gave me a bouquet of flowers! It was so sweet and it really meant a lot to me. Kindness is such a beautiful attribute to bring into a marriage.

Mary Jane and Yuki have been together for some time and you can see how much they adore one another. Now being married, I know they will continue hosting and throwing great parties! I just kept hearing about how amazing their cooking skills are…I may need to invite myself over for dinner! 🙂

With recent Hurricane’s on the east coast, it majorly changed the sunny forecast that was expected. I knew our perfectly planned timeline would have to be adjusted. They ended up having to move the ceremony inside because it wouldn’t stop raining. While some Brides may have been in freak out mode, Mary Jane was still smiling and enjoyed every part of her day! I was especially thankful for such amazing vendors and Mary Jane’s wedding coordinator, Lindsay Barrows. Lindsay made sure everything was peaceful and ran smooth despite the downpour. One of the biggest highlight of my day was all the fun dancing at the reception. The groom has some sweet breakdancing skills!
