Joshua & Laura’s Wedding | Knoxville Wedding Photographer This sweet love story began when Joshua and Laura were just babies, 4 years old to be exact. These two were positioned next to each other at one of their dance recitals and I had the chance to watch the home movie at the rehearsal dinner! Joshua focused on Laura to make sure all his motions were right as they performed “Shout to the Lord!”. You could tell they were meant to be even then! It only took about 15 more years to reach their wedding day, but now they are still standing by each other worshipping! Joshua and Laura hold such a special place in our hearts. Joshua’s family have become like family to us over the years and we so cherish their friendship. There were so many incredible moments throughout the day. Of course, I absolutely loved hanging out with some of my favorite people all day long! The girls started the day at Jones-Stiles house and I am so thankful that Shannon (the mother of the groom) decided to paint her bedroom a beautiful neutral color a few weeks before the wedding. It was the perfect spot to get ready! Joshua and Jonathan hung out at Joshua’s apartment for some getting ready photos and then went out for a Sonic treat before the first look! We photographed the first look at a beautiful mansion built in the 1800’s. The setting was so gorgeous with large oak trees, a fountain, and a cobble stone path. Joshua began to cry as he saw his gorgeous bride walking toward him…The photos captured during their first look are some of my favorite of the day and absolutely loved their vintage look and feel. The ceremony was held at Heritage Fellowship Church. When scrolling through the ceremony photos, you will see photos of Joshua and Laura singing. Their faith in God and passion for music are very important to the both of them. So, they lead several songs during the ceremony. What a wonderful way to start a marriage! Joshua and Laura love espresso and coffee shops. Joshua is actually incredible at latte art! So, I was not surprised to find their wedding reception filled with the aroma of cake and coffee. With string lights, classy music, and all espresso you can drink… they enjoyed celebrating with over 300 friends and family. As you look at your photos today, tomorrow and even years from now… I hope you will treasure all the moments of your day and always remember to treasure one another. We love you both!
