Biltmore Mansion Proposal | Joshua and Laura

“It’s wedding week for these two sweeties! What a great time to share Joshua and Laura’s proposal / impromptu engagement session at the breathtaking Biltmore Mansion in Asheville, NC! We are so excited about celebrating with them at their wedding on Saturday!

For those who don’t know, Joshua and Laura have been working with us at the studio for the past several months and we have felt all their wedding excitement, especially these last few weeks leading up to their big day! We have loved every minute of it!!
Here’s a little re-telling of their engagement story…Last October, Joshua told us he was planning to propose to Laura at their favorite bench on this vine-covered walkway near the gardens at Biltmore. He asked Jonathan and I to be there to take photos as he proposed. So, we hid behind some large bushes and prepared to capture the moment! Although, I was convinced that a few passer byers were going to give it away when they would stop and ask if we were ok… lol Go away people!!! haha! Luckily, Laura was too lovey-eyed to notice us… 🙂

As soon as Joshua knelt down to propose Laura, she started screaming! Like really screaming! I think all of Biltmore must have heard her. It was just perfect! This place is so special to them and I loved how Joshua had it all planned out. After about 10 minutes of screaming, we came out from behind the bushes and walked around the estate to do some engagement portraits. After stunning photos at The Biltmore, we took them out to dinner to celebrate their engagement! What an exciting night and it could not have gone smoother! Joshua and Laura, we LOVE you both and we are super honored to have been apart of your special engagement-day and we cannot wait to be apart of your beautiful wedding day on Saturday!!!
