Destination weddings are so much fun to photograph. Chip and Tammy, along with about 40 of their friends and family members, drove from Georgia to celebrate their wedding day on top of the beautiful Smoky Mountains at the Park Vista hotel in Gatlinburg. This couple has been together for over 17 years (that was not a typo!) and they finally made the decision to tie the knot. The newlyweds first met when Chip sold Tammy a car. They quickly became friends and fell in love a year later. Throughout the day, there was a recurring theme that spoke of Chip’s loyalty and devotion to Tammy. As we watched them, the faithful friendship and love that they share was made very apparent to all. I also loved that Tammy’s daughters, Sidney and Lindsey, were such a significant part of the day. You could tell that they are very thankful for the many years that Chip has been a father to them and that they are very excited to now have him as an official member of their family. Chip and Tammy, thank you so much for gifting us with the opportunity to capture all of these precious moments. You two were a joy to work with and we were so excited to be a part of your wonderful day! Congratulations on your marriage. We wish you the best!
