Lodge at Brother’s Cove | Jeff & Rachel’s Smoky Mountain Wedding

The wedding day started out rainy, but it didn’t dampen the spirits of those who came to celebrate. Jeff and Rachel were so sweet, laid back, and chill as they excitedly prepared for their special day. Over forty of their friends and family traveled from Florida and Connecticut to be a part of their destination wedding. The men got a special taste of southern hospitality when a bear cub came to greet them at their cabin as they were getting ready! Welcome to the great Smoky Mountains!

Rachel was gorgeous in her beautiful gown with lace details. Not only was Rachel stunning in her gown, but her “something borrowed” had a story of its own. Her amazing floor length veil has been worn over twenty times by members of the groom’s family. Originally handmade in Germany, Jeff’s great grandmother handed down the veil as a family heirloom that sisters, aunts, cousins, and now Rachel have worn on their special day. How awesome to have such a great tradition!

The bridesmaids were beautiful in their pastel dresses with their baby’s breath bouquets that complimented the bride’s bouquet of pastel roses. The men all looked handsome in their grey suits. We were so happy that we got a little break from the rain after the ceremony so we were able to get some outdoor portraits with the beautiful Smokies as their backdrop.

We were so thankful to be apart of this amazing wedding. Rachel and Jeff, we are so excited for you all as you start your new journey as a married couple!
