We were so honored to be a part of Kara and David’s wedding! The two were married on a rainy East Tennessee day at Cedar Pond Farm in New Market. It’s a gorgeous location and we were so happy when there was a break in the weather just before their first look photos. We were thrilled to get some outdoor portraits! The fresh rain made everything look so new and green, a beautiful spring backdrop. Kara looked gorgeous in her lace wedding dress and she was the sweetest bride! She and David were so chill and happy the entire day even with all the storms. The wedding party was also amazing! They all worked quickly to take advantage of the brief window of clear skies, which was a good thing since the storm started back up just in time for their ceremony. As the rain poured down on the roof above us, their officiant mentioned how she felt like God was showering Kara and David with all His many blessings. I agree! Instead of using a unity candle in the ceremony, they both brought water from their homes and poured them into a jar symbolizing joining everything from their lives into one. Very fitting and divine with the weather being what it was. David and Kara’s reception was so pretty with all the green succulent plants and so much fun. They even had a piñata for the kids! It was a wonderful day with the sweetest couple ever! We pray many blessings over them as they begin their journey as husband and wife in California where David pastors a church. Congrats guys! Enjoy some of our favorite pics from their day!
I love her sweet Momma!
I love his reaction:)
The storm was moving in right before the ceremony
I adore this moment of Kara’s girls praying for her.
