From the moment I walked in to the Hotel room at Grove Park Inn and gave Lindsay a big hug, I felt like i was being reunited with one of my dear friends! Lindsay is gorgeous inside and out! I love her genuine hospitality and kindness. I can see why Patrick fell so in love with this girl. She has a sweet gentle spirit. I knew Lindsay was planning to wear her Grandmother’s veil, but did not realize she altered her Mother’s wedding dress to wear as well. I loved the sentiment and the classy feel this brought to her wedding day. Most weddings are a lot of work in themselves, but when you are planning a destination wedding it adds a completely different dynamic of work. Lindsay’s family is from Florida and all of Patrick’s family are from Indiana. So, they planned to have their wedding in Asheville, NC because it was a central location and not to mention gorgeous! I loved how both sides of the family and friends worked together to make the day perfect. Everyone had to travel and many of them spent countless hours decorating the Century Room and making arrangements for the day. Everyone really enjoyed the day! We started the day at the Grove Park Inn and then traveled to the Basilica of St. Lawrence for the ceremony. This Church is very historic and gorgeous! The reception was held at the Century Room in downtown Asheville. We love this reception venue! There are so many highlights from our day with Lindsay and Patrick. Some of my favorites were Patrick’s loving gazes to Lindsay all day, the sentiment of Lindsay’s wedding dress and veil, the oak tree logs on the tables with carved initials of the bride and groom(so awesome), the Father / Daughter waltz, and my little five year old boyfriend! Many thanks to the amazing vendors who made this day awesome! Grove Park Inn, Linda with The Basilica of St. Lawrence, Century Room for hosting the reception, Lola Salon and Gallery for the hair and makeup, Asheville Videography, Mrcs Mobile Dj, Debi with Just Simply Delicious, and Shady Grove flowers. Her Grandmother’s hankerchief Lindsay’s amazing bridesmaids made a banner of photos. That veil Definitely my favorite shot! That little guy was my boyfriend for the day! Amazing inscription on every log! His two favorite lady’s laughting! Lindsay and her Dad worked on this Waltz for several days. It was so great! One of Lindsay’s sisters couldn’t make the wedding because she is due to deliver her baby, so they skyped during the day. This guy was just too cute!
