What are the crazy chances of a Tennessee girl meeting a San Francisco guy while doing an internship in China? Pretty good if you ask William and Emily…as they couldn’t imagine not knowing one another now. Their paths crossed when abroad and their friendship soon turned into love.
The wedding day begin with us spending time at Emily’s families home. We took beautiful photos of family, bridesmaids and ofcourse her sweet little pooch, Obie! I’m a fan of little puppies…my first baby was a little 3 pound Yorkie named Mika. So, one of my highlights of the morning was definitely Emily’s pooch. He was kinda the star of the show but I don’t think Emily minded! He is so spoiled!
The wedding ceremony was held at the classical St. John Newman Catholic Church. Catholic weddings hold such deep symbolism with the ceremony rituals and vows the Bride and Groom share. It was such at heartfelt ceremony that displayed Emily and Williams strong faith. Emily was absolutely beautiful as she walked down the aisle.
After the wedding, everyone enjoyed a fun and memorable reception at the gorgeous Whitestone Country Inn! With the chapel, gazebo, and veranda that overlooks the lake…you can’t help but feel like you have discovered a little peace of Heaven! It’s so very romantic and provides such an intimate reception!
Emily and William are both brainy geeks! Their mutual love for quadratic equations and all things geeky was very evident as their closest family and friends shared some hilarious stories during the wedding toasts.
Emily’s sisters speech was incredibly funny. I was laughing so hard… It had to be one of the best speeches I’ve ever heard. I guess that’s what you get when you’re a writer for Walt Disney.
Emily and William – we wish you all the very best as you start out your new life together! May you experience many, many years of happiness together! Enjoy some of our favorites from your wedding day!
