Ryan & Lexie’s Barn at Chesnut Springs Wedding | Sevierville Wedding Photographer I can’t believe that Lexie is really married! We have know this gorgeous redhead for several years now and really got the opportunity to spend a lot of time with her during our studio renovations a few years back. When we started the studio remodel, I was a brand new mom and was so stressed with how I would get everything done with my active little boy attached to me. For those many weeks, Lexie delegated herself as Gabriel’s person. The entire time we painted, laid floors, installed lights, and repainted our messed up walls 3 times (that’s a crazy story), She was there. When trying to choose renovation options, I would always ask Lexie what she thought about this color floor or that color paint and her answer would usually be, “it’s a Win-Win”. She is such a positive and joyful person to be around and so very thankful she’s in my life! Between the paint fumes and wonderful conversation, there was definitely a lifelong bond formed with her. We talked about how she would get married one day and what it would be like… So, when Lexie came to me earlier this year and asked me to pray with her about a certain someone, I really felt honored to be apart of something so special. On the day of their wedding, I could hardly believe it was already here! Ryan is a wonderful guy and I love his heart for Lexie! You can see how he truly cares for her. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have approved! Haha! He is pretty smitten and it has been a joy to watch them over the past several months! Ryan’s so tall, bearded and loves any chance he get’s to play guitar and lead worship at his church. I learned at the wedding reception that Ryan’s a pretty good dancer too! When the wedding day arrived, it Rained, rained and rained some more! The wedding was at the beautiful, rustic Barn at Chestnut Springs and the ceremony was to be held outside. The first thing Lexie told me on the day of her wedding was that she and Ryan were going to have a great day regardless of all the rain! What a great bride! They were just so happy to be getting married… it’s a Win-Win! Lex :). I assured her we would get gorgeous wedding photographs even with the rain. Thankfully, a miracle happened 5 minutes before the ceremony was suppose to start. It stopped raining! Immediately, a wonderful team of friends and vendors worked so hard to dry off the outside aisle so Lexie would not get her dress wet! This couple is so loved! Lexie and Ryan- We are so excited that you are married! We love you both and hope you love all of your photos! Lexie is the first grandchild to get married. Ryan really wanted to have the dinosaurs as a cake topper, so it was only fitting to take a special shot for him.
