There is something about photographing an easy going, sweet couple like Crystal and Richard. It isn’t forced, their love just seems to show itself naturally without any effort. On the day of their engagement shoot, Crystal wasn’t feeling very well, but she was so excited about her session that she didn’t want to cancel. It was easy to see what their marriage will be like as Crystal leaned on Richard for support and he provided this sort of quiet strength. It made for such sweet and beautiful photos! Looking at the pictures you would never know that she was anything but in love. This session took place on a family farm belonging to one of my former AWESOME clients!!!! We LOVE them for allowing us to take photos on their gorgeous property! The location was perfect for this sweet couple!  Crystal’s older sister Jessica and brother-in-law also joined us on the shoot. They added a lot of fun and I am definitely glad they were there especially since they helped us get over an electric fence. Crystal and Richard were such a joy to be around and photograph. It is obvious how much this young couple loves each other and are ready to start this new adventure together. We are so blessed to be on this journey with so many AMAZING couples! We love all of them!!!!  We are so excited about their upcoming fall wedding at one of our favorite venues, The Carriage House in Jefferson City! Enjoy some of my favorites of this precious couple!

Let me just say…I love these two and I was so honored to shoot Amy and Laken’s wedding and be a part of their special day! I first met Laken a few years ago when he was working on a documentary film with my brother-in-law Jamison. I love Jamesy and the amazing guys who have been apart of his life for the past several years. So, you can imagine, i was especially excited when Laken contacted me about his wedding day!

I truly respect and honor Laken and Amy’s commitment to their faith. Their wedding truly represented their hearts for the Lord and each other as they shared their wedding vows. And their dream wedding came true because of all their amazing friends and family who joined together to make it a reality!

There were so many highlights from this wedding…You can tell a lot about a person by whom they chose to hang out with and it was very impacting to see a group of young men gather together for worship and prayer before their ceremony.

Another favorite moment was when Laken’s father shared a sweet story during the Ceremony. His dad spent many years going to the altar and praying for Laken’s future wife. It was the first time Laken heard this story and the cool thing was that Laken got married in the same Church at the same Altar where his Dad had prayed so many times before. Needless to say, I had a little teary moment! Another highlight from the wedding was the song that Amy’s father wrote and recorded. The song was played during the Father/Daughter dance…someone hand me a box of tissue!

Even with all of the crazy rain on their wedding day, the Bride and Groom and the entire bridal party hustled to make sure we got every shot we needed! Jonathan and I loved being with you on your special day and wish you many happy years! We hope your Disney Honeymoon was magical! Enjoy some of my favorites from your big day!

Anna Grace looked so stunning in her gorgeous fitted dress! She’s naturally so beautiful and has the best smile! One of my many highlight from this wedding were Anna Grace’s unofficial bridesmaids. They were amazing in helping Anna Grace’s day be the perfect day she had hoped for! Another highlight was my personal impromptu song that Brooke wrote for me while I was taking photos… Haha! He wrote one for Jonathan too, but mine was better. Brooke is so fun and easygoing…I loved listening to him and his friend as they played guitar and sang all afternoon.

It was a fabulous day with a charming Bride and Groom!! Anna Grace and Brooke – Thanks again for having us be apart of your day. Wishing you many years of happiness and beautiful music!

Throughout the day, there was a recurring theme that spoke of Chip’s loyalty and devotion to Tammy. As we watched them, the faithful friendship and love that they share was made very apparent to all. I also loved that Tammy’s daughters, Sidney and Lindsey, were such a significant part of the day. You could tell that they are very thankful for the many years that Chip has been a father to them and that they are very excited to now have him as an official member of their family.
