Ella’s One Year Session | Dara’s Garden

I can’t believe Ella is already one years old…. This little girl is so loved by her parents and her awesome grandparents who always come to her sessions. For her first birthday, her Grandfather built her a Cinderella carriage and inscribed her name, “Ella” on it. We knew we wanted to use it, but needed a perfect setting for it. We chose the beautiful Dara’s Garden in Knoxville with the dreamy white house and enchanting garden. I absolutely love this venue and everyone who works there is so accommodating. Her carriage looked absolutely perfect with this backdrop! Her parents even had a special princess outfit for that portion of the session. My most favorite detail of Ella’s session was her Dad as her Prince Charming. Every little girl needs her Dad to be her prince!

Ella is so full of life and is a huge fan of music. At her nine month session, her favorite song was, “Uptown Funk” and we basically played it the entire time. At this session she needed to hear, “Watch me( Nae Nae).” We let her dance to it the entire time and it was so much fun to watch her! I have loved watching her grow up this past year! Amber and Brandon, thanks for bringing your sweetie to me. I love her little self! Enjoy some of my favorites from her session.

I adore these two little kids! They are super funny and active! And they are SO excited about starting kindergarten and preschool! I have to say my friend, Melanie, she is so organized and on top of things when it comes to making sure to document every milestone moment! I’m just a little behind with my kids… For those who feel behind, it’s not too late! I still haven’t done Katelyn’s 2 year or Gabriel’s 4 year pics, haha! We started this session at the studio and finished up at an adorable barn! I just love the color coordinations Melanie had picked out for the family photos! Plus, I really enjoyed my time with the kiddos!! Enjoy a few of my top favorite’s from their photo session!

These little guys in dress shirts and sharp looking ties are just the cutest. Their crafty Mom made it for them! I so loved this Spring session with Alex and Nate. Alex is so incredibly sweet to his baby brother and I know they are going to be the best of friends. Denise, thanks for bringing your sweeties in to see me! My nieces are just too cute! I always love when I get to photograph them! They are both so funny and super photogenic. Ellie is the little comedian and you will see that her in photos. Victoria recently turned seven years old and Ellie is now four. In this fun filled session, we did a combo of individual shots and some sister shots… I hope you enjoy my favs!

We had so much fun at this session!!! Shiloh has so much personality! In order to get a great smile, she would have to scream! Hah! Yea, so we screamed a lot and it was the best! Hopefully, we didn’t scare any neighbors…. This little girl is a bundle of energy! I love how she is so girly and yet isn’t afraid to get dirty too!

We started the shoot at a cute barn in Jefferson City and then finished up at my studio. Her Mommy brought the cutest outfits for her session! Every girl needs a good pair of cowboy boots and a poofy dress! Enjoy my favs!
