Mary and Chad have been good friends of ours for many years now and we can’t wait to welcome their TWO new additions into the world! It was at their gender reveal party in the spring that they surprised everyone with the news that they were having twins! A boy AND a girl! It has been so fun talking about their plans and watching them get ready for what will be a truly life changing experience for this couple. We had a great time photographing them at one of our favorite spots in Jefferson City, TN. Chad and Mary always know how to have fun! Mary looked so beautiful as a mommy-to-be and Chad looked nothing but proud and excited about his sweet family. The genuine love between these two made it easy to capture their joy. l have no doubt they will be the most AMAZING parents! We love you both and look forward to meeting Luke and Amelia in just a couple of weeks!

I am super excited about this post! The Mclemore family have been really close friends of ours for several years! Lindsey was the very first friend I made after moving to Jefferson City and I am so thankful for many years together and fun memories! Jonathan and I have LOVED walking this journey of parenthood with Lindsey and Brent! And their oldest daughter Felicity is the sweetest thing ever, I just know she is going to be the greatest big sister to Tessa! We had so much fun with this session, even with my sprained ankle. Felicity was all smiles and loved snuggling her Mom’s belly! Just a couple more weeks Lindsey, and Tessa will be here before you know it! I hope you guys enjoy some of my favs!!!

At the time we met, she was pregnant with Esther. I have loved watching this family continue to grow over the years. We have done so many sessions together. I was so excited when Megan called to tell me she was pregnant again. I was even more excited when I found out I was the only one, other than the nurses and one of her friends, who would know the gender of baby #3. I loved prepping for this shoot! Erik and Megan wore blue because they thought baby #3 would be a boy and Abigail and Esther wore pink for a girl. Enjoy this gender reveal!

Andrew and Amanda will always have a special place in my heart! When Andrew was in college, he ended up living in our basement/apartment for a semester, seems like forever ago!! Also, Jonathan and I were so honored to photograph their wedding. I can hardly believe the Vanderford’s are now having their first baby! As you will see, these two are just too cute!

Amanda has been teaching yoga throughout her pregnancy and wanted to incorporate it into the shoot! I loved watching her do these poses! I can’t wait to meet sweet Abigail! Amanda and Andrew, wishing you all a safe delivery…Enjoy your photos!

I always love when my clients want part of their maternity session shot in their nursery. I enjoy seeing what colors, themes and styles parents choose for their little ones! I first met Juanita several years ago in Jefferson City. She was waitressing at her parents restaurant, El Sazon. While I love their gaucamole and habanero salsa, what I love most about their restaurant is Juanitas mom, Dolores! I’ll tell you a little more about her in a bit. Juanita and I were pregnant at the same time with our first babies. So, I instantly felt connected to her and loved hearing how things were going with her pregnancy. Isabel is just a few months older than Gabriel.

Just a few weeks after Gabriel was born, Jonathan and I ventured out for dinner. I soon discovered it was a BAD idea! As soon as we ordered our food, Gabriel started screaming as if he ate a bite of their hottest salsa! I was about to give Jonathan the “we have got to get out here NOW” look when Dolores came over and asked me to hold Gabriel. I thought she was a little crazy for offering, but I was really hungry and overwhelmed!:) Within a minute, she calmed Gabriel down… She snuggled him the ENTIRE time we ate dinner! Dinner with a sitter! It was amazing! Since then I’ve had extra love for this family.

Fast forward to a few weeks ago, Juanita called about doing a her maternity session. I was so excited to photograph her and her sweet family! Juanita is incredibly gorgeous and her daughter Isabel was a dream child for the shoot! Isabel and I had so much fun together! I’m sure she and Gabriel will make good friends! Juanita, Thanks for allowing me to photograph your beautiful family! Enjoy your photos and can’t wait to meet little guy!

I love watching two people become a family! I first met Nick and Lauren when they booked us to capture their beautiful wedding day last year. It was such an honor to shoot their engagement session and wedding! These two are so much fun and I have so loved documenting every stage of their love story. And now they are having a baby!!! I’m so excited! I can’t wait to meet little Hudson.

We decided to split up the session and do part of it in Hudson’s nursery because it’s just so cute! Lauren is so incredibly organized. Every detail of Hudson’s room was completed to perfection and I’ve got to say that I absolutely LOVE this blue and gray room. If you need inspiration for a boy’s room… This is your place. Murphy, the canine baby, decided to crash part of the session! What an adorable doggie!

Lauren and Nick- As always it was so much fun seeing you guys! You’re going to be great parents! Enjoy your last few nights of rest for awhile….
