These two are set to get married this weekend and I just had to share their gorgeous engagement session at the Pavilion at Hunter Valley Farm in Knoxville, TN. Jonathan and Danielle are absolutely the sweetest couple and I loved capturing their joy throughout our evening together! Enjoy some of my favorite photos from their session!

Dara’s Garden Engagement | David and Emily

I can hardly wait for Emily and David’s wedding next year! I photographed David’s brothers wedding a couple of years ago and was so thrilled when he contacted me about his big day coming in the spring! We adore his sweet family and I was so thrilled to meet his bride to be and to celebrate with another Prenshaw! We had such an amazing time at their engagement session at the fabulous Dara’s Garden in Knoxville, TN! David and Emily are so easy to talk to and laugh with! It’s couples like these that make my job so enjoyable! They both have so much joy and are so in LOVE! Emily is an amazing girl with such a big heart and David is so sweet! I think the best word to describe him is smitten! Hah! Enjoy a few of my favs from this gorgeous session!

Jefferson City TN Engagement | Ben and Tinsley

Tinsley and Ben are set to get married in November and I was so excited to take their engagement photos! At the beginning of the session, Tinsley mentioned that she and Ben had never had their photos taken. These two were total rock stars and you would think they were pros! Even though it was extremely hot, these two were such troopers and joyful the entire time! Tinsley is incredibly photogenic! The smiles, laughs, and model poses were all a product of her unique and fun personality that came out in every photo! Ben was so sweet and affectionate throughout the entire session with Tinsley! I have so many favorites from this session! I love the haze created by Atmosphere Aerosol in the barn loft photos softening the rustic look, and the light trickling in through the barn slats. With this couple they made for some gorgeous pics! Jefferson City really does offer some beautiful locations and with the fantastic East TN views and Cherokee Lake in the background we captured some timeless photos. I had a great time with this sweet, fun loving couple! Enjoy some of my favs!

Carson Newman University Engagement | Phillip and Brittany

Philip and Brittany’s love for each other was so contagious throughout their entire shoot! The running joke between these two was that they would laugh at the thought of meeting their mate while in school, and little did they know they would find each other while at college. It was only fitting that these cuties chose Carson Newman University for their first location because it was there at the beautiful white columns that their story began on the first day of school. Carson Newman University should probably hire these two to recruit new students! Brittany is so absolutely beautiful and sweet, I’m sure we would be great friends if we spent more time together and Philip was kind and quick to hold his bride-to-be during our session! They were a breath of fresh air and Jonathan and I are so very thankful to be a part of this special season in their life! I always love when our couples bring their fur babies to their shoots and Miss Blitzen was certainly a star and so well behaved! My little Mika could learn a lot from her! A special thank you to my new friend Tinsley for watching Blitzen while we took pictures!

Joni and Jeremy are just the sweetest people! They both have such contagious smiles and Joni has the most gorgeous blue eyes! What I love most about them is there ability to laugh! They are so funny and light hearted! We had the best time together and it was an extra special treat having my beautiful niece as my assistant. Eleanor is my little photographer in training! She made sure to keep Peddington, their little fur baby, happy during the entire shoot.

I am so looking forward to the Jeremy and Joni’s wedding at The Carriage house this fall! I know it will be filled with so many moments of laughter and joy! Enjoy some of my favorites of their Knoxville Engagement shoot!

Morristown Engagement Photographer | Richard and Crystal

There is something about photographing an easy going, sweet couple like Crystal and Richard. It isn’t forced, their love just seems to show itself naturally without any effort. On the day of their engagement shoot, Crystal wasn’t feeling very well, but she was so excited about her session that she didn’t want to cancel. It was easy to see what their marriage will be like as Crystal leaned on Richard for support and he provided this sort of quiet strength. It made for such sweet and beautiful photos! Looking at the pictures you would never know that she was anything but in love. This session took place on a family farm belonging to one of my former AWESOME clients!!!! We LOVE them for allowing us to take photos on their gorgeous property! The location was perfect for this sweet couple! Crystal’s older sister Jessica and brother-in-law also joined us on the shoot. They added a lot of fun and I am definitely glad they were there especially since they helped us get over an electric fence. Crystal and Richard were such a joy to be around and photograph. It is obvious how much this young couple loves each other and are ready to start this new adventure together. We are so blessed to be on this journey with so many AMAZING couples! We love all of them!!!! We are so excited about their upcoming fall wedding at one of our favorite venues, The Carriage House in Jefferson City! Enjoy some of my favorites of this precious couple!

Hunter Valley Farm Engagement Session | Zeke and Grace

It always makes me so happy to hear from past bridesmaids who are now brides. I met Grace a few years back when she was a bridesmaid for our gorgeous bride Leia! This auburn haired beauty was amazing even then and I was SO excited to receive an email from her even before her engagement was officially “official”! I was thrilled that her date was still open! She and Zeke are perfect for one other and so much fun to be around! I knew that whoever she was planning to marry would have to be pretty special and Zeke truly is! These two both have a strong love for the Lord and it showed throughout our time together. I love being with couples that leave you feeling encouraged!!! They chose the perfect scripture verse for their session, “We love because He first loved us.” It was very obvious that Grace and Zeke are living their life in this way and so refreshing to see in such a young couple!

We met up last week to do their engagement session at their wedding venue, Hunter Valley Farm! If you are not familiar with this venue, you will love this engagement session. There is so much variety at this venue and the whole place just makes you feel like you’ve stepped back into simpler times. We found a gorgeous area with beautiful spring trees and the perfect pink blossoms. We then made our way over to the stables. Zeke and Grace L.O.V.E. animals! They have both worked at a Vet’s office so it was so appropriate that the horses were going to be in the shoot. This one horse was hilarious! I guess he was just wanting his time in front of the camera too because he would not stop interrupting their photos! He was quite the character and definitely made for some perfect unplanned shots for these two! We wrapped up our time at Hunter Valley on the the Beach. I love this little area at the farm and can’t wait to explore it more on their wedding day! Enjoy my favorites of this adorable couple and get excited about their sweet wedding in the fall!
